Electrical engineer

Would you like to take care of the electrical design of automated laser machines in a technical company ? Balliu MTC focuses on the development and production of laser equipped machines, and that for various applications and materials, at home and abroad. We are specialists in laser cutting, laser welding and laser cladding and we focus on custom made installations. Do you have a passion for engineering and electrical design? Then you might be the Electrical Enineer that we are looking for!

Job responsibilities

You will create the electrical designs of the new laser machines.
You create the electrical schematics (EPLAN) for machines, projects,… this includes cable lists, I/O lists, control cabinet boards,….
You design the boards in consultation with the engineering team
You are responsible for managing the schematics and bill of material
You coordinate the purchase of electrical components
You review with the mechanical and software engineering the electrical requirements of the machine
You are responsible for the risk analysis and the requirements to CE conformity in consultation with engineering
You support the electrical assembly
You follow up on the latest technologies regarding sensors, camera techniques, networks, communication, safety, etc.

Profile description

You are passionate about electricity, machine safety, automation, electromechanics, etc
You are a team player
your mother tongue is Dutch
You are eager to learn, have strong communication skills and a broad analytical view
You can work independently and are stress resistant
You can document well and work in a structured way
You have at least a professional bachelor degree, preferably in electronics/electromechanics with min. 3 years of relevant experience
You have practical knowledge of Eplan and of making electrical diagrams
You have experience with mechatronics, machine construction and automation projects.
Experience with ERP systems (BAAN) is a plus
Experience with programming of safety PLC’s is a plus
